Yes. We can match any color you choose. Our standard colors are white and almond. These are the most common colors for porcelain finishes. Other colors can be reproduced for an additional time but for the same price!!! and if is possible we match any color.
Yes. We can repair chips, stains, burn marks, knife marks, holes, gouge scratches and other damage. There may be a slight halo but often the repair is practically undetectable. If the rest of the surface is in very good condition the damaged area alone can often be repaired as a spot repair avoiding the need to refinish the entire surface.
This is one of our most popular service requests. Fiberglass bathtubs and showers commonly crack over a period of time when not well supported. Plumbers sometimes have to cut holes in the fiberglass wall to access pipes. Many owners think they have to replace the entire unit but we can repair it on site at a much lower cost. When the cause of the crack is insufficient support below the floor of the tub or shower unit, we repair this error by rebuilding the floor and filling the space below the floor of the unit with a hardening foam, then patch the crack and refinish it to look like new.
Abrasive cleaners should be avoided in order to ensure the new re-glazed surface keeps its appealing fresh new shine. Abrasive cleaners will dull the surface over a period of time. In fact the same is true of a regular porcelain finish. Re-glazed surfaces are easy to keep fresh and clean. They do not require harsh chemicals or rough scrubbing. Cleaning the surface with a gentle cleaner such as the scrubbing bubble cleaners is all it takes to keep the surface clean and looking new. Constant dripping or constant wetness can cause a problem over a long period of time. For this reason we recommend against the use of rubberized mats. The surface is not as slippery as a porcelain finish so mats are not really necessary.
** DO NOT lay soap or bottles or any objects on the finish at any time! ** DO NOT let a leaky faucet go un-repaired. ** DO NOT use abrasive cleansers (use soft sponges). ** DO NOT use loose bath mats with suctions underneath. ** DO NOT pick surface dust off with your finger. ** Any surface dust will dissipate in 3-4 weeks with normal cleaning and usage. ** The best way to keep your tub clean is to wipe it down with a wet towel after each use. You don't have to wipe it dry. ** Maintain caulking around the tub. ** Here are some good cleansers to use: Mr. Clean, Scoth Brite Sponges, scrubbing Bubbles, NO BLEACH,
In most cases, your tub can be re-glazed in four (4) hours or less. If your re-glazing includes Tiles or a sink, you can estimate a full day job.

As stated above harsh chemicals are a no no. If the water is not going down and you put
chemicals in the water the chemicals will dissolve in the water and eat away at your finish whether the tub has been refinished or not.
Having a snake is a good idea.
a) Take off the over flow plate and pull out.
b) Take a snake. ( I recommend one that you can attach to a drill )
c) With some water in the tub run the snake down the drain via overflow slowly until the water starts to go down. If you just have a somewhat slow drain you may be able to get away with chemicals but if its a real slow drain or clogged altogether use the snake. If you are uncomfortable doing this than hire a professional.
d) Back the snake out slowly hopefully with a glob of hair.
e) Replace the over flow plate.

If your fixtures have been re-glazed or house painted, we must strip the old material in order to achieve the most comprehensive finish. There is a minimum extra fee for stripping and your design consultant will assist you with the pricing. You can tell if your fixture was re-glazed or painted before if you see grazing, flaking, peeling or and excessive amount of chipping.
Re-glazing is a coined word. It is a special kind of surface repair and refinishing process designed for bathtubs and other porcelain fixtures. Because of the low cost and effectiveness of the process it is often used on laminate counters, wall tile and fiberglass as well.

The process is done in-place without heat. The material used produces a very hard simulated porcelain that looks and feels like a brand new porcelain finish when professionally completed. When applied to counters it is usually colored and often slightly textured which gives it a slick new look for counter tops.

First the surface is thoroughly cleaned with industrial cleaners to remove any soap scum, mineral buildup etc. Then, any chips, holes, cracks and damaged areas are repaired and filled with special fillers to make the surface smooth and even. The entire surface is sanded and then etched and primed with a bonding agent to ensure an excellent bond with the finish. (This is one of the steps some re-finishers cut corners to reduce costs. We are often called out to repair work done by inexperienced or cut-rate tub re-finishers when their surface begins to peel through incomplete preparation). Once fully prepared the surface is sprayed with a high-tech acrylic coating that hardens to form a new shiny surface that looks and feels like the original porcelain.
We use only the highest quality materials available. We are very pleased at the results we have been getting using the Midwest Chemicals products. You can check our principal vendor at this web site: http://www.midwestchemicals.com
We re-glaze tubs, counters, tile, sinks, vanities, appliances, floors, cabinets, showers, sales counters, millwork work stations, exam tables, water fountains ...

We sell drains and bath mats.

Tub liners are generally 3 times the cost of re-glazing and in many cases tend to collect water underneath or crack causing more extensive problems. Re-glazing is substantially more cost effective and will help maintain the integrity of your Tub & Tiles without introducing plastic or fiberglass into your bathroom. Re-glazing offers a more authentic restoration and allows the authentic grout lines to be visible.

All the re-glazing is done in your own home. We traditionally are the last part of your decorating project as we require a dust free environment in order to provide the best possible finish. Please do all the painting, sanding and construction before the re-glazing process. Upon arrival, we will simulate a spray booth in your bathroom to insure neatness. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and cleanliness.

Save time and money! You can save 80-85% over the cost of replacing an item. For example, a bathtub can easily cost upward or $1,500.00 to replace by the time you tear out the old tub, dispose of it, buy a new tub and have it installed, have a plumber refit the drain and faucet, then fix any damage to walls or tile surrounding the tub. It is very common that to remove an old tub the doorway has to be widened or the the tub has to be cut in two. These things add a lot of time and money to the project. If you plan on doing a full remodel that is the time to think about replacing old fixtures. Some old fixtures should be kept and refinished because of their desirability as original fixtures or antiques. One time a fixture should be replaced is when it is extremely rusted such as can occur with low cost thin pressed steel bathtubs. Once a steel tub has rusted through it should be replaced.
